Late Elzy Theodore Miller Sr.

1965-2023

The Late Elzy Theodore Miller affectionately known as “UNCLE” was born to the late Theodore Miller and Gertrude Kate Glenn on April 11^th, 1965, in Gainesville, Florida.

Elzy attended Hawthorne Senior High School and graduated in the class of 1984. He worked for many years in food services at the Ritz Union at the University of Florida. To know him is to love him. Elzy had a passion for cooking, sports, spending time with his family and friends, as well as serving his community. He was an active member of the “Circle” organization and loved the Gators.

Three Children: Octavius Miller(Katrina), Shateria Miller, and Elzy Miller Jr.(Kendriana); Seven Grandchildren and his long lifetime companion, Mary Power; Sisters, Sheila Simmons, Sabrina Miller, and Tonya Miller; Brothers, Robert Simmons, and Rodriquez Brown; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family who will dearly miss him.
