Ms. Karen Arleen Green graced the earth with a sweet spirit on May 14, 1956, in East Palatka, Florida and departed from our lives on October 4, 2024, in Gainesville, Florida.

Karen, was the daughter of the Late Sammie and Mittie Green moved from East Palatka, Florida to Gainesville, Florida and started her family. She found her church home with Holy Temple Of God where she served as an Usher.

 She Leaves To Cherish Her Smile And Fond Memories: Two sons, John Hill III, who preceded her in death, and Dameion Cook of Orlando, Florida; One daughter, Kizzy Hill of Gainesville, Florida; Ted Daies(The love of her life); Two brothers, Terrell Sanders of Orlando, Florida, and William Holmes of East Palatka, Florida; Two sisters, Myris Green, and Thomasena Williams of Gainesville, Florida; Four grandchildren, Warren Phillip, Jah’ren Phillip, Davion Pugh all of Gainesville, Florida, and Destin Diez of Tampa, Florida; One sister-in-law, Ingrid Starling & Very special friend, Gloria Johnson of Gainesville, Florida; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and sorrowing friends.

 

Those who preceded her in death

Grandmother: Littie Bell Sanders; Brother: Lanny Starling, Sister: Debra Johnson; Uncle: William Sanders; Two aunts: Ida Boone & Lucille Woods.
