Sister Willie Mae Jones Gibson was born on November 2, 1932 in Raleigh, Florida to the late A William Jones and Eva (Stinson) Jones.
Time to be educated...
She was educated at Raleigh Community School.
A Time to be married...
She was married to Eddie Gibson on September 2, 1950. From this union, five children were born. One of which preceded her in death.
A time to worship...
She was a member of Nolan Missionary Baptist Church where she served until her health failed her.
A time to depart this world...
She passed quietly from this life on Tuesday evening, March 21, 2023.
A time to be remembered...
Willie Mae Jones Gibson leaves to cherish her memories her four children: Eddie Gibson Las Vegas, Nevada, Elizabeth Graham (George) Gainesville, FL, Lawrence Gibson (Tammi) Gainesville, FL; and Sandra Gibson Raleigh, FL. Four grandchildren, Tahnika Jones (Jesse), Metika Graham, Shana Melendez (Jamaal) and Bryan Graham. Six great grandchildren, Lat'yana Harvey, Terry Cue, Jamaal Riley Jr, Elijah Jones, Gabriel Jones, and Jade Riley; One Sister-in-Law, Patricia Mathews; Two God-children, Dorothy Williams (Oliver), Vicky Desue (John) and a host of nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
